Four Core System

Information And Referral Services

Information and Referral Services are available to assist people with disabilities and their family, in locating and accessing resources which will be helpful to them in developing their abilities for living independently in the community.
Counseling

Counseling is available on an ongoing basis though Peer Counseling (provided in an individual and group format) and Self-Help Groups. This Service is provided at CCILC, but it is not facilities bound.
Advocacy

Camden City Independent Living Center, Inc. is in existence to operate as a grass-roots advocacy organization. This Center will utilize it's staff to act on behalf of Camden Disabled Community in order to bring about necessary change as dictated by this segment of the community. Through advocacy we will work to protect the rights of Camden City Residents who have a disability.
Daily Living Skills Training

Help is available for any individual who is seeking to better their skills at such tasks as: public transportation, shopping, banking, managing your personal care attendant, and learning to manage your own apartment or home.
